The starting point is an exceptional Assam Oud — sourced exclusively from a supplier in Bangladesh with whom Louis Vuitton has a long-term commitment, making this essence a true Maison exclusive. Known as perfumery's "black gold," this Oud possesses a scent so rich and profound it seems to contain all others within it. A sparkling opening of Saffron immediately announces the fragrance's opulent intentions, before a lush, made-to-measure heart of Bulgarian Rose Essential Oil and Centifolia Rose Essence blooms in full floral splendour — entwined with warm, exotic swirls of Cocoa Extract. The Oud deepens as it extends its leathery, animal-raw sensuality through the composition, before a veil of Ambrette, White Musk, and Moss cocoons the skin in an endlessly luminous, lingering trail.
